My New Year's Resolution For 2021
My New Year's resolution for 2021 is to participate in the 52 Ancestors in 52 Weeks challenge created by Amy Johnson Crow. She is a genealogist who hosts the Facebook group called Generations Cafe. Each Monday, she sends out a prompt of a word or two, and we respond to the prompt with something we discovered through genealogy: a story, picture, or other artifact etc. While I have made some books about my ancestors for my family, I know that most people don't have the time or inclination to read them. I'm hoping this was will allow them to get a small piece at a time and maybe get more interested in our family history - though I know they won't be as nutty about it as I am. I will also include some interesting people from in-laws' and adopted cousins' branches from time to time. Carla and Kendra and any others who wish to contribute, please do so.
